Cookie Notice — thebrandmasters.co.uk
Effective date / Last updated: 5 October 2026
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, scripts and other methods that store information on, or access information from, your device.
This notice explains what thebrandmasters.co.uk uses, why we use it, and how you can manage your choices.
Who we are
The site is owned and operated by The Brand Masters LDN Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17330288.
We are responsible for deciding how cookies and similar technologies are used on this website.
What technologies does this site use?
The site uses, or may use, the following categories of technology:
Strictly necessary technologies
Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies are needed for the website to function, remain secure or deliver a service you have requested. They may include technologies used for:
- security and fraud prevention;
- maintaining a technical session;
- load balancing and reliable website delivery; and
- remembering your cookie or analytics preference.
These technologies do not require consent where they are genuinely strictly necessary for the service you have requested. We will not use them for advertising or behavioural profiling.
Analytics technologies
We use PostHog, configured for the EU region, to understand basic website traffic. Our intended analytics use is limited to:
- pageviews;
- basic traffic statistics; and
- understanding how visitors use and navigate the site in aggregate.
We do not use PostHog for session recordings, surveys, advertising, marketing, affiliate tracking, retargeting, social media pixels or cross-site advertising profiles.
Depending on its configuration, PostHog may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies. Analytics technologies are not strictly necessary for the website to provide the page requested by a visitor.
Third-party platforms
The website includes links to:
- WhatsApp through
wa.me; - Instagram; and
- Facebook.
Clicking through to one of these platforms takes you away from our website. Those platforms may set their own cookies, use similar technologies or process information about you once you visit their services. This is outside our control and is governed by the relevant platform’s own privacy and cookie notices.
If embedded third-party content is added to the website in the future, that content may also set cookies or access information on your device. We will update this notice when appropriate.
Our analytics consent position
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), storing information on, or accessing information from, a visitor’s device generally requires clear consent unless an exemption applies.
Because the current PostHog analytics configuration may store information on your device or read information from it, analytics must not run before you consent unless PostHog is configured in a genuinely cookieless, memory-only way that:
- stores nothing on your device;
- does not read information previously stored on your device for analytics purposes; and
- does not identify individuals.
Analytics: runs without storing anything on your device — see how to change your choice.
If analytics runs only after consent, the consent mechanism must:
- ask for consent before PostHog runs;
- provide a clear and equally prominent way to refuse analytics;
- avoid pre-selecting analytics consent;
- allow you to change or withdraw your choice at any time; and
- prevent PostHog from running until consent has been given.
If PostHog is configured to operate without storing anything on your device and without identifying individuals, an analytics consent banner is not required for that configuration. We will still explain the analytics activity clearly and provide an appropriate way to object or prevent analytics where available.
We do not use this website to set advertising or marketing cookies. We do not use affiliate tracking, retargeting, social media pixels, cross-site advertising profiles or marketing subscription cookies.
The enquiry form sends submissions to info@thebrandmasters.co.uk. The site does not provide user accounts or logins and does not keep enquiry submissions in a user-accessible website account.
How to accept, refuse or withdraw analytics consent
If analytics is operated using cookies or other device storage, you can manage your choice through the website’s cookie controls.
You should be offered options that are equally clear, such as:
- Accept analytics;
- Reject analytics; and
- Change cookie settings.
You can withdraw consent at any time by selecting the website’s cookie settings or preference link and switching analytics off. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew consent.
If the website is using the cookieless, memory-only PostHog configuration described above, there may be no analytics cookie to delete. You can still contact us if you want to ask about analytics processing or exercise an objection.
How to delete or block cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website works.
Instructions are available from the browser providers:
- Google Chrome: manage cookies
- Apple Safari: manage cookies and website data
- Mozilla Firefox: clear cookies and site data
- Microsoft Edge: delete cookies
Browser controls may not automatically withdraw a consent choice already recorded by a website. Where available, use the website’s own cookie-preference controls as well.
For more information about cookies, storage technologies and consent, see the Information Commissioner’s Office guidance on cookies and similar technologies.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice if the cookies, storage technologies or analytics configuration used by the website changes. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date or last-updated date.
